Spain has been downgraded to AA+

Escrito el 19 enero 2009 por Antonio Rivela Rodríguez en Uncategorized

As I forecasted in my last blog: Spain has been downgraded from AAA to AA, most specifically to AA+, which is one step, or more technically “notch” down.

I am a natural optimistic person: So, rather than explain why Spain has been downgraded, let me focus on what can be done in order to reverse the situation.

* Take measures to reduce or at least contain unemployement levels
* Lower debt levels to 2008 levels
* Increase market competition
* Increase employment flexibility
* Increase productivity

See below Bloomberg article on the topic.

I hope you liked the blog and the accurate forecast: C u next week! Antonio
